Patience Khomani

Patience is a Malawian pharmacist since 2016. After completing her internship at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital, she worked as a full- time Pharmacist at Beit Cure International Hospital and later at MASM Mediclinics. She has also worked as a Pharmacology Tutor at Ekwendeni College of Health Sciences. While at Beit Cure International Hospital, she spearheaded the registration and licensing of the pharmacy and while at MASM Mediclinics, she facilitated the development of MASM Essential Medicines List and developed Standard operating procedures for all pharmacy processes.

Patience is passionate about patient welfare and advocacy and has received several awards for her outstanding services including the Prestigious Square Alumni prize for her outstanding work in fighting antimicrobial resistance. Patience is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Iceland specializing in Regulatory Affairs.
