Sveinbjörn Gizurarson

Background: Sveinbjorn is a professor in clinical pharmacokinetics and toxicology at the University of Iceland. He is also an Honorary Honorary Consul for Malawi in Iceland, as well as Honoraroy Professor at Malawi University of Science and Technology and honorary lecturer at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences in Malawi. Sveinbjorn has developed one drug, that is on market in the USA called Nayzilam. It took 20 years to develop the formulation and 12 years through phases I/II/III and registration. He has worked as a consultant for multiple companies around the world, mainly on intranasal drug and vaccine development.
